Salary: ₹18 - ₹30 Lakhs/Annum Expected

Description:

Fidelity Investments is hiring a DevOps-focused Software Engineer to join its Architecture and Engineering (FAE) group in Bangalore. Operating within a high-impact global team, this role is critical to driving Fidelity’s enterprise-wide digital and platform transformation. Rather than simply managing application-level deployments, you will engineer, standardize, and scale the central Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tooling ecosystem—including GitHub, Artifactory, and CloudBees Jenkins Core. Your primary mission is to build reusable CI/CD pipeline patterns, develop centralized Jenkins Shared Libraries, and enable automated self-service environment capabilities across both open-source and cloud-native Kubernetes environments.

Key Technologies:

CloudBees Jenkins Core / Shared Libraries, Groovy, Shell Scripting, Git / GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform / OpenTofu, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Maven, Node.js, Python, Go, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana

Requirements:

  • BE, B.Tech, or MCA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative engineering field.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional, hands-on software development experience specializing in DevOps automation, infrastructure scripting, and enterprise pipeline configuration.
  • Deep, production-tested technical expertise designing standardized Jenkins workflows, building reusable template modules, and maintaining modular Jenkins Shared Libraries across multiple business lines.
  • Expert programmatic engineering capabilities writing automation logic in Groovy and system administration scripts in Shell/Bash.
  • Solid architectural familiarity navigating multi-language build dependencies and compilers, specifically Maven, Node.js, Python, and Go.
  • Hands-on operational experience with container engines (Docker image optimization) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes node clustering, namespace management, and deployment scaling).
  • Proven workflow experience building and managing cloud environments via Terraform, OpenTofu, or AWS CloudFormation (CFT).
  • Practical development or administration exposure inside major public hyper-scalers, specifically AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Foundational familiarity monitoring system health metrics and application tracking using performance telemetry suites like AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Active technical certifications in a public cloud platform (AWS/Azure) or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), alongside experience running highly resilient, auto-scaling, large-node cluster environments.
